Brits are being warned not to eat millions of jars of Branston Pickle

Millions of jars of Branston Pickle have been recalled over fears they could contain plastic.

The Food Standards Agency has issued a warning to shoppers, stating: "If you have bought any of these products please return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund."

The recall has been made by Mizkan Euro - the brand which manufactures Branston Pickle.

The products affected include:

The Food Standards Risk statement reads: "The presence of pieces of plastic makes these products unsafe to eat."

The FSA says: "If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund."
