Britons: are you planning to book a foreign holiday this summer?

Experts warned this weekend that foreign holidays are “extremely unlikely”, as many European countries record in a surge in the number of coronavirus cases. Instead, the government is making new investment in tourist hotspots at home, with new funds set to help coastal areas in particular over the summer.

However, with the UK government’s roadmap still on course for a full easing of restrictions on 21 June, many are still hoping that holidays can press ahead as usual.
