Britney Spears has told of her commitment to be freed from her conservatorship.
Last month, the pop icon rocked the world when she spoke up in court in a bid to be freed from the legal order that allows the responsibility for her finances, and other areas of her life to lie with her father, Jamie Spears.
The conservatorship was put in place after her mental health breakdown in 2007 and she wants to remove her dad's control over her life.
The singer made several bombshell claims - that included that she's unable to get married and have more children as she's been put on contraception by her 'team' and that she was forced to take a strong mood stabilising drug.
However, her claims made no difference as after the hearing the judge ruled that she will not be freed from the legal order.
And taking to social media to share that she is not done in speaking out, the Toxic musician has now told that she will "never be able to let go and fully move on" until she says all she needs to say.
Britney wrote to her fans on Tuesday: "So I said 'life goes on' in one of my recent posts but it’s always easier said than done!!!!!
"In that moment that’s what felt was the easiest to say but I think we all know that I will never be able to let go and fully move on until I’ve said all I needed to say … and I’m not even close !!!! I was told to stay quiet about things for so long and I finally feel like I’m just getting here !!!!"
The chart-topper - who has vocal in slamming her father and sister on social media in recent weeks - illustrated the post with an image that read: "One day at a time."
Britney's Instagram message follows on from her new lawyer declaring to move quickly and "aggressively" to end her dad's role in the conservatorship.
The singer's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, spoke outside of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon and said: "My firm and I are moving aggressively and expeditiously to file a petition to remove Jamie Spears unless he resigns first."
Rosengart, who was granted the ability to represent the former Disney star last week, also thanked Britney "for her courage and strength" and her fans for their support.
His comments were met by cheers from an onlooking group of the singer's followers who had gathered outside once again with Free Britney signs.
The hearing, which was adjourned until Monday next week, was expected to include arguments over a money dispute between Britney's legal personal guardian, Jodi Montgomery, and the singer’s dad Jamie Spears.
Montgomery, was set to ask the judge to charge the conservatorship for her extra security after she had received death threats since Britney took to the stand via audio link in June.
She said that the fees required were approximately £1,300 ($1,800) each day.
