Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears BLASTS trolls for targeting her sister over taking ‘me time’: ‘Don’t come for my family!’

Jamie Lynn Spears launched a passionate tirade in defence of her older sister Britney Spears after trolls criticised her for taking some time away from the spotlight.

The former Zoey 101 star clapped back at haters who criticised Britney after she revealed she would be taking “me time” following her father's hospitalisation in January.

Jamie tweeted a video of herself walking alongside the Toxic singer during her early years as she was bombarded by a swarm of paparazzi and hateful comments from onlookers.

She warned critics not to comment about what they “don’t understand” as she highlighted that she has always been there for her sibling.

She wrote: “10 years ago, who was there?? I have been here long before anyone else and I’ll be here long after. I love my sister with everything I have.

“So anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand.”

She finished: “Don’t come for me or the ones I love anymore. You can move the ‘blank’ outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth.”

Jamie’s rant comes after Britney told fans she would be stepping away from the spotlight months after she broke the news that her father Jamie’s health had taken a turn for the worst.

Earlier this year she put her Las Vegas residency show Britney: Domination on pause in a bid to help aid his recovery after he spent 28 days in hospital.

Announcing the news on social media in an emotional post, she wrote: “It’s important to always put your family first and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalised and almost died.

“I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand.”
