Britney Spears says she was only allowed out twice during four-year Las Vegas residency

Britney Spears claims she only went out twice during her Las Vegas residency.

The singer, 39, performed at Planet Hollywood in Sin City from 2013 until 2017 and took to Instagram on Monday night to claim that during the four-year period she was only permitted to go out twice.

The Toxic musician can be seen posing in a white dress and red stiletto heels in the video she shared with fans about the time in her life.

The chart-topper captioned the upload: "I’ve been thinking about life and what my version of success is…

"To me it’s knowing I’ve used my heart over my head and it’s hard sometimes because of ego... but sometimes ego is protection!

"I gotta get the hell out of here… ok… I’m talking nonsense. Either way… me in my white dress!!!

"I was thinking about when I did shows in Vegas… the four years I was there I went out only two times!!!! Unfortunately, I’m not lying."

She went on: "But that’s not why I’m sharing this with you guys… it was the only one time I wore a white costume!!!!

"I know it sounds weird but to my surprise I believe the colors you wear reflect back to you in a way!!!!

"Psss I’m not sure anybody on my crew ever wore color in the four years I was there… in other words… people it may be uncool but let’s start wearing bright colors."

The former Disney child star's father Jamie recently agreed to step down as her conservator after she pleaded with a judge for his removal.

Until Jamie agreed to step down from the order, which is usually put in place for the very ill, old or infirm, the responsibility for Britney's finances, and other areas of her life, were under his control.

The conservatorship was put in place after her mental health breakdown in 2007.

Britney's conservatorship hearings are ongoing following her dad's announcement that he'd step down from his role.

According to new legal documents, he wants to work with the court on an orderly transition to somebody new.

In July, Britney appeared remotely at Los Angeles' Court last week to speak directly to Superior Judge Brenda Penny about her life under the restrictions of the conservatorship.

The singer made several bombshell claims - that included that she's unable to get married and have more children as she's been put on contraception by her 'team' and that she was forced to take a strong mood stabilising drug.
