Britney Spears has shared her most cryptic post yet, which described her enemies as "tricky little s**ts".
The pop star, 39, has been locked in a legal battle with her dad Jamie over the conservatorship in which he has control over her finances, career and personal life.
Her fans have gone into a frenzy every time she posts a new snap on Instagram, with many believing her bizarre posts are a cry for help.
On Tuesday, Britney sent fans into a flood of confusion as she referred to herself as a "motherf**king snake" and warned her enemies to watch out as "who knows what colour snake I will be tomorrow".
Britney dressed in a skintight bodysuit covered in a green snake-print.
She wrote as the caption: "I held a snake at the@VMAs one time but decided to go ahead 20 years later and become the motherf**king snake myself!!!!
"And since TRICKS ARE FOR KIDS you tricky little s**ts … who knows what color snake I will be tomorrow!!!!???
"STAY SAFE folks and watch out for the [snake emoji]!!!!!"
Her fans were left divided by the cryptic message - with some trying to decipher the hidden meaning behind it in the comments section.
One person wrote: "Okay what the actual-"
A second commented: "It's Britney's world and we're just living in it."
"Well this ain’t strange at all Brit. Hope you’re released from your cage soon!!!!" a third penned.
But others pointed out how Britney is "fooling" all her enemies.
"Is this Britney?" one asked.
Another said: "No this can’t be Britney writing this?" with other fans sharing similar thoughts including "I agree" and "it sure as hell ain't her".
"She's doing it on purpose," one fan echoed.
"Hahaha. She's telling people she is a snake and fooling you all."
Members of the #FreeBritney movement have been convinced the star is sending secret messages to her fans through her social media accounts.
The campaign began as fans have been urging for the pop star to be removed from the conservatorship she is under.
The conservatorship was imposed on the pop star 12 years ago following her highly publicised breakdown, with her father Jamie put in charge of her life, career and finances.
She has been fighting to have her dad removed as her conservator and replaced by an independent financial expert.
Jamie is currently sharing control of conservatorship with independent financial company the Bessemer Trust.
