Her locks, now a rich brunette, were tied back in a messy ponytail.
Her workout comes amid her battle to take back control of her life.
Britney's been the subject of a conservatorship for the past decade - her every expense has been under the eye of dad Jamie and attorney Andrew M Wallet.
The arrangement has been surrounded by drama, as Jamie's position has been questioned.
A source told TMZ that although Lynne, Britney's mum, wanted Jamie out of his position, the judge was having none of it.
He will, however, take a break from his duties until January next year, with care manager Jodi Montgomery taking the reins until then.
Britney found herself with this financial arrangement after a series of events that had those close to her worried about her mental health.
In early 2008, at the age of 24, she was hospitalised twice, and this caused those around the singer to believe a guardian might be a good shout.
Britney had shaved her head in full view of the paparazzi in 2007, after months of unusual behaviour.
The conservatorship was put in place in October 2008.
Peter Katsis, who was on Britney's management team at the time, revealed to the New York Times: "It clearly wasn't working with her in control of the ship. It was overwhelming for her when she came of age."
The Hold It Against Me hit maker has been in the public eye since 1999, when she was just 17. Since then, she's been scrutinised about her life and relationships.
Mum Lynne once told Rolling Stone of her daughter: "When I look at Britney, I see both a woman and a girl. When she's home, at night she sleeps with me.
"She has her own bedroom, but she wants to sleep with me. She's a little girl.
"But then I hear her on the phone with her business, and she is such a taskmaster."
