Britney Spears is in “amazing state of mind” according to her wedding dress designer Donatella Versace.
The 40-year-old, who is due to marry fiancé, Sam Asghari, 28, has been enjoying living her life in the public eye again after being freed from a conservatorship last year.
And now her coveted fashion designer pal has confirmed she is thriving in her newfound freedom.
Versace, who is designing the pop star’s wedding dress, told Vanity Fair: “She’s doing well. I find her in an amazing state of mind. I know it’s been such a long time. I’m very happy to see her like that.”
The 66-year-old fashion mogul also said that the Toxic singer is currently "on vacation".
Donatella was a key celebrity figure who threw her support behind Britney in a bid to get her freed from the shackles of her conservatorship.
She was among the celebrities celebrating Britney's freedom on social media after hearing the exciting news last year that the hitmaker is able to make her own medical, financial and personal decisions for the first time since 2008.
At the time Donatella shared a throwback photo of the two sitting at a table and posing for the camera.
"Freedom is a human right," she wrote. "My heart is smiling for you, Britney.
"Congratulations on your regained and deserved emancipation. I love you, your fierce fans love you and the world NEEDS your brilliance. Happy Britneypendence day! #FreeBritney @britneyspears."
Last week it was revealed Britney and Sam are said to be trying for a baby together, with the couple open to adopting in their dream to expand their family, sources claimed.
The singer began a relationship with the actor, 28, after meeting on the set of the music video for her song Slumber Party in 2016 - with them having got engaged last year.
The Grammy Award winner - who shares two teenage sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 44 - has made no secret of her desire to have another child, this time with Sam.
And it's been claimed that the couple are already trying for a baby, with it rumoured that plans are underway to introduce a nursery and playroom at their home.
