Britney Spears has 'found her voice' amid conservatorship battle and 'won't be stopped'

Britney Spears is reportedly "fighting back" after "finding her voice" amid her conservatorship battle.

The 39-year-old pop star, who has no control over her personal or financial decisions and has to get approval from her father Jamie Spears, is ready to end her 13-year conservatorship once and for all after previously feeling like "no one would listen", a source has told US Weekly.

"Britney is fighting back now because she feels support[ed], and for the first time, like she has power," they claimed.

"The #FreeBritney movement really gave her her voice back. She felt like she wasn't alone."

Mum-of-two Britney has been under a conservatorship since 2008. In June, Britney gave a testimony in court, asking Judge Brenda Penny to remove her dad Jamie as conservator of her estate - but the request was denied.

Jamie Spears stepped down as Britney's conservator of person in September - leaving Jodi Montgomery to take over the role. However Britney is still "fighting" to have him removed as conservator of her estate.

The source went on to claim: "Britney has tried several times before to get her life back, but no one would listen. Now that Britney has found her voice, there's no stopping her."

They claimed that Britney "wants the world to know what her dad has been doing to control her life".

Following her emotional court testimony last month, Britney's court-appointed lawyer Samuel Ingham III said he will resign after she is appointed a new lawyer.

Britney won the right to choose her own lawyer to help her with the battle after the Judge approved her choice at the hearing.

The star reportedly wants Hollywood lawyer Matthew Rosengart to represent her in the conservatorship battle.

During the second hearing on July 14, Britney made further bombshell claims.

She told a court that the way she has been treated is "f***ing cruelty" as she demanded her father be removed from the conservatorship.

During the hearing, she appeared on the phone and claimed her hair vitamins and coffee had been taken away from her.

She told Judge Brenda Penny: "Ma'am, that's not abuse, that’s just f***ing cruelty. Excuse my language but it's the truth."

The Mirror has contacted Britney's representative for a comment.
