Britney Spears’ fiancé Sam Asghari calms fans after she posts naked pictures

Britney Spears’s fiancé has promised to look after her after her fans expressed concern over the pop star’s latest antics.

Sam Aghari, who is 12 years younger than Britney, took to Instagram to reassure her followers that he will take care of her. He posted, “I got you America” complete with emojis of a muscly arm, denoting strength, a winking face and hands joined in prayer. He also shared photos of his fiancee in the gym, captioning them "Light work with the lioness."

On Wednesday, a judge in LA suspended Britney’s father Jamie from his role as her conservator. This will mean she is allowed to have access to her $60 million fortune and have complete control of her private life after more than a decade.

But her fans have been concerned as the mum of two, 39, shared nude and topless photos on her Instagram feed.

Britney was seen wearing only a pair of red bikini bottoms, covering her nipples with her fingers. Then she also posted a video with emoji flowers blurring out her nipples and bottom.

Some of her 34 million followers were worried, writing, “Is this the look of a mentally healthy person?” while others posted, “Something about this just doesn't feel right.”

But her celebrity friends, including Paris Hilton, liked her posts as the Once More Time singer declared herself free.

Sam is an Iranian-born fitness trainer who has been dating Britney for more than five years. The couple became engaged last month, and she captioned a picture of the huge engagement ring with the comment, “I can’t f**king believe it.”

This will be Britney’s third marriage. Her first, to Jason Alexander, lasted just 55 hours. She then married Kevin Federline in 2004, and had their first son Sean Preston in 2005. Their second son, Jayden James, was born the following year. But as the couple’s relationship broke down, Britney’s behaviour became increasingly erratic. She was seen in public attacking a paparazzi’s car then shaving her head. In 2006, her father Jamie applied to become her conservator, looking after her financial affairs.

This situation continued without incident until 2019, when fans started to worry about the pop star’s state of mind again, and the campaign #FreeBritney was born.

In June this year, Britney made a sensational speech to a judge, alleging that she’d been denied even basic rights, like being allowed to leave home to go to the beauty salon, and she’d been forbidden to manage her own contraceptive care. The judge refused to cancel the order, but by September, Britney’s father resigned from his role.

Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, commented about the decision, saying: “It's a great day for Britney Spears and it's a great day for justice. There's definitely something to celebrate. But it's also a solemn day. Britney Spears has been faced with a decade-long nightmare orchestrated by her father and others.”
