Britney Spears does cartwheels to KT Tunstall tune as she celebrates latest conservator hearing

After widespread attention on Britney Spears' conservatorship case, the judge ruled on Wednesday that Britney Spears can choose her own lawyer moving forward.

To celebrate the news, Spears shared a video that showed her celebrating by doing cartwheels and horseback riding , alongside the #FreeBritney hashtag, as reported by the Mirror.

This social media slogan has been around for years, started by the Free Britney movement and has now picked up steam in recent weeks.

In the video shared to Instagram and Twitter, Spears can be seen repeatedly doing cartwheels in grass and riding a horse , with the song "Black Horse And The Cherry Tree" by Edinburgh's very own KT Tunstall playing.

Britney Spears posted the celebratory video on Wednesday after a judge ruled she is allowed to choose her own lawyer in her conservatorship case.

She also wrote a caption to go with it: "Coming along, folks .... coming along !!!!! New with real representation today ... I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED !!!!" Spears wrote in the caption of the video.

"Thank you to my fans who are supporting me ... You have no idea what it means to me be supported by such awesome fans !!!! God bless you all !!!!! Pssss this is me celebrating by horseback riding and doing cartwheels today !!!!"

The #FreeBritney hashtag is most often used by the Free Britney movement, which has sought to see the pop star be released from her 13-year-long conservatorship for years now.

The judge's ruling is the latest development in her ongoing legal case, coming just over a week after Spears' court-appointed lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham, III, filed to resign.

Now, Spears has selected Mathew S. Rosengart, a well-known Hollywood lawyer, to represent her moving forward.

Spears also requested on Wednesday that her father, Jamie Spears, be removed from the conservatorship and proposed charges with conservatorship abuse while speaking in a court in Los Angeles.

Insider reports that the latest hearing came a few weeks after Spears gave groundbreaking testimony last month.

She described the conservatorship as abusive and asked for it to be ended.

Despite many fans fighting for years within the Free Britney movement, this most recent testimony brought it into mainstream public focus once again.

Even after this testimony, Judge Brenda J. Penny went on to rule against Spears and deny her request to remove her father from the conservatorship.

Spears' father was also not charged with conservatorship abuse at this time.
