Britney Spears left her fans scratching their heads after she posted and swiftly deleted a bizarre comment on her Instagram post.
She had shared three snaps of herself posing in a skimpy black and yellow maid outfit and said the get-up was hotter than her own maids' uniforms.
The Baby One More Time singer, 39, changed the caption to emojis, but not before her fans saw the original and quizzed her on its meaning.
In the snaps she shared, Britney donned the skimpy outfit which had a frilly cut-out detail on the chest, a frilly collar and matching sleeves, and a yellow apron.

She wore her hair in a ponytail and sported her trademark thick black eyeliner in the pictures.
The first photo showed her posing with her hands behind her back and staring down the camera lens.
In the next image she has taken off the apron and held it in front of her eyes, while the picture was taken from further afield and showed off Britney's legs.
The final snap was Britney pulling the same pose but showed off her cleavage in the risqué outfit.

Britney's original caption said: "Like I said … my maids may have been able to get their nails done during COVID after salons opened but f**k …
"At least my maid outfit was the hottest."
She then changed the captioned to two high heel emojis.
Her fans rushed to comment to quiz her on why she had changed her post.

One fan commented: "So this post said something completely different a few seconds ago!!!!!"
"What happened to the first post with the same pics talking about your nails?" another posted.
"So what was it you said about the maids?" a third said, adding a chin-scratching emoji.
A fourth wrote: "Well, that post looked different a few minutes ago."
"What happened to the comment about the nails??? #FREEBRITNEY!!!!!!!" a fifth said.

The Mirror has contacted a rep for Britney Spears and is currently awaiting comment.
It comes after Britney appeared in court last month to ask a judge to remove her father Jamie Spears from her conservatorship.
The conservatorship gives Jamie control over Britney's financial and personal affairs, and she compared her treatment under the order to that of a sex trafficking victim.
The judge declined to remove Jamie from the conservatorship and instructed Britney's lawyers to file to get the order terminated all together.
