Britney Spears' conservatorship lawyer resigns and is 'very upset' with her views

Britney Spears’ conservatorship lawyer, Sam Ingham, has resigned from the role, following on from the singer's manager who has also quit.

The lawyer has been the singer's representative for the 13 years of her conservatorship but is reportedly "extremely upset" at her comments in courts a couple weeks ago, in which she made some explosive claims.

TMZ has reported that after Britney spoke about how disappointed with how Sam handled her case, among other allegations about her father when she appeared in court via video.

It is believed that the lawyer has filed a request to be removed from his court-appointed position, in which he has been Britney's counsel.

The US media site has reported that Sam has denied claims by Britney that she wasn't made aware of all the options surrounding her guardianship and wasn't informed as to how she could bring it to an end.

TMZ has said that Sam has claimed the opposite and that Britney was in full knowledge of all the details.

It has been alleged by insiders in the case that Britney was made aware of exactly what needed to be done to end her dad Jamie Spears' conservatorship.

The insider claimed that it was Britney that has requested that it should continue, contrary to what she has been saying in public.

Sam's resignation follows hot on the heels of Larry Rudolph calling it quits as the singer's manager.

He has been a long-term manager of the singer, with Deadline reporting that he told Britney's co-conservators, Jamie Spears and Jodi Montgomery - who was appointed by the court, in a letter to the pair on Monday..

Larry wrote: "It has been over 2 1/2 years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus.

“Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire.

"As her manager, I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed."
