Britney Spears breaks silence with sexy dance as dad Jamie steps down as conservator

Britney Spears has broken her silence after her dad Jamie stepped down as her conservator.

The singer, 39, twirled and danced around in a sexy black lace bodysuit and shook her hips for the camera in a new Instagram video, following the news.

Mum-of-two Britney looked sensational as she strutted across the screen, showing off her athletic figure in the skimpy outfit, which she paired with stiletto heels.

She simply captioned the snap with three pouting emojis, sharing her happiness with fans.

She appeared to be celebrating her freedom after 13 years of being in a conservatorship with dad Jamie being in control of her estate, and agreeing to step down in court documents filed yesterday.

Taking to the comments section, fans were quick to celebrate her future freedom.

One person wrote: "Happy for your freedom. I wish you'll shine more and more!"

Another penned: "YOURE FREEEEEEEEE."

"She's looking better each time. I really feel her freedom is coming," a third commented.

In the documents obtained by The Sun, Mr Spears' lawyer writes: "There are, in fact, no actual grounds for suspending or removing Mr Spears as the Conservator of the Estate and it is highly debatable whether a change in conservator at this time would be in Ms Spears' best interests."

"Nevertheless, even as Mr Spears is the unremitting target of unjustified attacks, he does not believe that a public battle with his daughter over his continuing service as her conservator would be in her best interests.

"Regardless of his formal title, Mr Spears will always be Ms Spears' father, he will always love her unconditionally, and he will always look out for her best interests."

Britney previously claimed her conservatorship is "abusive", comparing her treatment to those who have been sex-trafficked.

"The only similar thing to this is called sex trafficking … The people who did this to me should not be able to walk away so easily … I'm not here to be anyone's slave," she said.

She told the judge she is constantly told "no" by those who enforce it and that she feels "ganged up on" and "bullied".

"I feel left out and alone. And I'm tired of feeling alone," she added.

"This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good," she said.

"I deserve to have a life, I've worked my whole life. I deserve to have a two to three-year break."

She questioned why was that she can perform at the highest level in pop yet not make fundamental decisions about her life "I'm great at what I do," she said. "I shouldn't be in a conservatorship if I can work. The laws need to change. I don't feel like I can live a full life.”
