Britney Spears has been quiet about her boyfriend Sam Asghari of two years on social media as she comes to terms with her father's sudden illness.
The pop princess 37, recently Britney Spears 'checks into mental health facility' as she struggles to deal with father's colon cancer battle to deal with emotional distress.
In a lengthy Instagram post, following her three-month hiatus from the platform, she explained that she was taken 'me time' away from the spotlight, as she looks for some peace to concentrate on what truly matters to her.
Her comments, however, left some fans wondering if that meant that she had split from her 25-year-old model beau.
Although they have kept their relationship relatively private Brit hadn't posted about Sam since the beginning of December.
She pulled back on sharing any personal photos following the Christmas break, with questions raised about where Sam was.
However since she spoke out about her reasons behind her rehab trip, Sam put his full support behind his girlfriend in an emotional post yesterday.
Sharing the same quote Britney posted about taking care of herself, he wrote: "It isn't weakness, it's a sign of absolute strength, people should only be inspired by this, at least I am."
According to the Blast Britney and Sam are "still going strong" and are still dating.
The site reported that the couple were also still communicating and had spoken 'via phone on Tuesday'.
Mirror Online have contacted Britney's representatives for comment.
Britney revealed in January that her father Jamie had almost died recently, after he was hospitalised with illness, and Britney has stated that she wanted time to help him on his road to recovery.

A source told People magazine: "Her dad being sick has taken a toll on her. He nearly died and actually had another surgery a few weeks ago. He's not doing well.
"They're so close and it has been a lot. There is nothing dramatic going on with her - she just realised she needs to make sure to take time to care for herself."
Britney shared a throwback photo of her father on Instagram with her 21.6 million followers and captioned it with details as to why she is taking a step back.
She announced that her Las Vegas Domination residency would be put on hold, with fans able to get refunds for any tickets they had bought.
Her residency at the Park Theater located in the Park MGM hotel and casino, began on February 13, with 32 shows planned until the end of August 2019.
