British woman found dead inside Swiss hotel room in 'sex game gone wrong'

The “devastated” family of a British woman found dead in a hotel room have flown out to Switzerland.

Anna Florence Reed’s body was discovered on a marble bathroom floor on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old had checked into lakeside luxury hotel with her boyfriend the night before.

But guests complained of shouts and screams coming from their room and a porter was allegedly sent to calm things down.

The next morning, it is claimed her boyfriend went to reception at the four-star Ramada La Palma au Lac hotel in an “agitated state” to say she was ill and paramedics were called.

Medics tried to revive the Harrogate-born multi-millionaire’s daughter but it was too late.

A partial autopsy was carried out which said the cause of death was suffocation or asphyxiation and that she had small cuts on her body.

It is alleged her boyfriend was not arrested until later, when he told police she died during a sex game that went wrong.

The 29-year-old German national was arrested and is now facing a charge of pre-intentional homicide.

Anna’s father Clive Reed, 62, was said to be “utterly devastated” at the news and flew out with his eldest daughter Millie, 24, to Locarno, southern Switzerland.

Anna, who wrote on social media under the name “Berlin Baby”, had been visiting various countries in recent months.

A Foreign Office spokesman said British and Swiss police were in contact with their staff.
