British Transport Police jobs you can apply for now in Liverpool

If you're looking for the next step in your career or searching for a different job entirely, the British Transport Police are hiring in Liverpool.

With no two days the same, joining the force offers an exciting role for those looking for change.

BTP are advertising two positions in Liverpool for people to apply for.

The two-full time positions are based out of Liverpool Central and require different skills.

Detective Constable

The force is looking to take on a Detective Constable.

BTP said: "We are currently looking for qualified Detective Constables to transfer or re-join into our CID department in Liverpool.

"Successful applicants will be placed in our Transferee/Re-Joiner recruitment pool for 12 months from interview date awaiting suitable vacancies and intake start dates."

The job will involve investigations into "complex and serious crimes" and acting as a liaison officer for victims and witnesses.

People who have previously served as a member of a police force will be "welcomed" to apply.

Training will take place for the role, lasting between two to 18 weeks.

Digital Learning Designer and Developer

BTP is also looking to hire a digital learning designer and developer.

The job advert says: "British Transport Police (BTP) are currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Learning Designer and Developer to join our fantastic Digital Training Teams in either London (W14) or Liverpool (L1).

"This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationwide Police Force as we transform and modernise our Learning and Development approaches and move toward blended learning programmes. This is a permanent role paying £31,240.82 per annum plus £2,700.10 London Allowance (if applicable).

The role would see a hired candidate design and develop a new digital learning content.
