British Transport Police hunt woman accused of 'sexually assaulting' teenage boy at London Paddington

A CCTV image was released following the assault - (BTP)

British Transport Police are hunting a woman accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy at London Paddington.

Officers said the alleged victim was sitting on a bench in the station concourse when he was approached by the female suspect just before 11pm on Sunday August 31.

The force on Tuesday released a CCTV image of a woman they believe could help their investigation.

She is wearing a pink jumper, white trousers and dark shoes while holding an orange suitcase and shopping bag.

A BTP spokesman said: "Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 410 of 2 September.

"You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
