A British citizen has died after plunging 450ft from a cliff in Ibiza.
The man, aged 30, was reportedly with his partner and friends at Cala d’Hort in Sant Josep when he fell at about 10.30pm on Thursday.
The Civil Guard received a report that someone had fallen 450ft from a cliff near Torre des Savinar.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed to The Independent that the man had fallen from a lookout point near the Torre des Savinar at about 10.30pm on Thursday, and was found dead some time later.
He was British, the spokesperson confirmed.
Police used a drone to locate the man’s body after firefighters struggled on the difficult terrain, Diario de Ibiza reported.
A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesperson told The Independent: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Ibiza, and are in touch with the Spanish authorities.”
