British tourist, 20, dies after plunging from second floor of Magaluf hotel

A British tourist has died after plunging from the second floor of a hotel in Magaluf, becoming the second UK holidaymaker to die in a fall this week.

The 20-year-old was found lying on the ground close to death by a tobacco shop around 3am on Friday morning.

Police and emergency services tried to save his life but he died at the scene.

He was staying in a room with friends at the hotel near to where he was found - called the Wave House.

Sources said Civil Guard officers woke up his friends to tell them the bad news. They were sleeping and knew nothing about the tragedy.
