The All-Ireland championship is back underway and with it Sky Sports' GAA coverage.
The channel covered Kilkenny and Dublin's Leinster Hurling Championship clash last weekend and with it introduced many British people to one of our national sports.
Our neighbours across the water continue to be unsurprisingly a little baffled by the spectacle of men chasing after a small hard ball with wooden sticks.
One person tweeted: "Hurling is a crazy sport. The Irish are a mad bunch."
Another said: "What a mental sport Hurling is. I’ve just seen some t*** someone over the head with a bat."
One user commented: "Got to be a proper headcase to play it."
And another compared the action to soccer, saying: "Switching from the Kilkenny-Dublin hurling game at half-time to watch Sunderland-Portsmouth, can't help noticing how slow soccer is by comparison - and that big ball makes it look like a game for overgrown babies."
