We’re now just under two weeks away from one of the closest fought British elections in decades. The result in May, whether we see an outright majority or another coalition, will be crucial for the future of the UK.

Whether you’re in the safest of seats, or one of the swing constituencies that could decide the next government, we’d like you to help us document the election where you live. Are politicians still canvassing in your area or is there no sense that voting day is only two weeks away? We’d like to see your photos and hear any stories that reflect the election in these last few days.

We’d also like hear whether you made your mind up who to vote for, or are you still wavering? Are you a certainty to vote, or are you apathetic? Whatever your location, whatever your views: we want to hear them.

We will use the most interesting contributions in our election reporting.

You can contribute your views and photos by clicking on the blue ‘Contribute’ button on this article. You can also use the GuardianWitness smartphone app or the Guardian app and search for ‘GuardianWitness assignments’ – and if you add it to the homepage – you can keep up with all our assignments.
