A pair of heavily-tattooed British backpackers have been ridiculed on social media after saying they couldn't find a job in Australia.
The young couple revealed that they have struggled to find employment since arriving in the west of the country a month ago.
Sebastian Wolfe Pickersgill, 25, wrote about their plight on the Australian Backpackers 2019 page and included a picture showing their face-tattoos and unusual piercings.
Pickersgill, an experienced body piercer, wrote: “We are both struggling to find employment at this moment in time."
“But while I’m brain storming and problem solving, who here knows of anywhere around the West Australia/Perth area that is currently wanting work or taking resumes or anywhere else that is actively seeking working staff.”

Social media users were quick to point out that the couple's body art will likely count against them in the hiring process.
“Jesus, with such a degree of self mutilation that you both have, you are going to find it hard to find employment,” wrote one man.
“I’m sorry but that’s the truth. Your best bet is looking for work in a factory/packing job or something.”
Another person wrote: “If you do this sh*t to your face then you deal with what comes with it.”

Pickersgill, who is from Consett, Co. Durham, says he has nine years experience as a body piercer and his partner Maree Fowler has more than a decade.
Other respondents have been more helpful in the couple's job hunt and have suggested they move to Melbourne where people will be more accepting of people with body piercings.
One person said: "Australia is a bit behind with piercings/tattoos, I have my nose pierced and had trouble with that.
"All I can suggest is when going for interviews to wear a clear spacer in your piercings until you know what the company policy is.
"Farm work can be an option, but white card is a pretty good option. RSA too, in a bar you would probably be good too.
"I have tattoos and piercing and I’ve got jobs to do shifts in restaurant and bar so don’t worry about the comment above. You’ll find something."
