A British couple have been killed in Spain after their Ferrari came off a road and plunged into a river.
The pair — who were travelling in their black 488 GTB with a UK number plate — were discovered on Saturday afternoon by rescuers in the northwestern province of León.
They were reportedly part of a convoy of around 20 other Ferrari owners taking part in a rally in the Montaña Leonesa.

Spain’s Civil Guard said the victims, a 78-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman, were driving near the village of Boca de Huérgano when their £300,000 supercar plunged into the Yuso River.
Firefighters had to clear thick vegetation in order to reach the 205mph vehicle, which was upside down and partially submerged.
The mission to recover the bodies of the couple took more than six hours, according to reports.
Despite the effort of emergency service personnel in attendance, the pair were declared dead at the scene.
It is unclear where the occupants drowned or died from their initial injuries.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: "We are supporting the families of a British man and woman who died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities."
