A 13-year-old British boy has died after plunging from the sixth floor of an apartment block in the Costa del Sol resort of Fuengirola where he was on holiday.
Paramedics tried to revive him at the scene but were unable to do anything to save his life.
His mum was reportedly with him when he fell from a terrace into an internal patio.
The tragedy happened around 1.30pm local time today.
Local reports said people who had raised the alarm had spoken of an “accidental fall.”
Well-placed sources confirmed the youngster was on holiday.
A routine investigation by Spanish police is currently underway.
