British Airways ups London Heathrow flights to 50 a week

British Airways is to increase the number of flights from Aberdeen International Airport to London Heathrow during the winter months.

The airline will add three more flights taking the number to 50 a week from late October to March.

The increase in frequency of the services will start in the week beginning 27 October, with the additional departure time of 1pm running until March 2020.

Steve Szalay, managing director Aberdeen International Airport said: “London connectivity is absolutely essential to the lifeblood of our airport for business and leisure travellers alike.

“We warmly welcome additional services and we are delighted to further strengthen our capacity to London.”

Loganair recently announced new services between Aberdeen and Newcastle and Norwich , not long after SAS added an extra flight a week to Copenhagen and Wideroe scheduled another weekday service to Stavanger .
