British Airways is set to launch a brand new route to Croatia this week, just in time for the summer.
In fact, the airline is kicking off the sunshine season with new direct flights to Split, hailed as one of Croatia's best cities .
The new route will start on Friday 21st June, which just so happens to be the first day of summer.
It also coincides with the start of Yacht Week, for which Croatia is just one of six locations worldwide to host the floating festival, with the event lasting over 13 weeks.
The flights will be seasonal, operating three times a week from June through to September.
You can already book on the British Airways website with return fares from London City from £201pp if you opt for the airline's hand baggage only ticket options.
British Airways also operates flights from Heathrow Airport, with seven flights a week currently available until October.
Luke Hayhoe, British Airways’ general manager commercial and customer at London City Airport, said: "Croatia is a new destination for us and one which our customers have told us they want from London City.
"It is one of the fastest growing holiday destinations and we are delighted to offer new direct flights for the summer."
