Britain-shaped cloud spotted over Kent

A weather enthusiast has captured a picture of a cloud formation that looks uncannily like the United Kingdom.

The image was taken by Liam Kenward from the doorstep of his home in Kent and looks like Britain floating in the sky on a lovely, hot Monday, August 2.

He said: "I literally just came out the front door.

"And as I’m a weather enthusiast anyway, I was looking up at the sky and I noticed it."

Commenting on social media, one person said: "Even the heavens want us to stay united!"

Another added: "OMG - that's so cool."
