Britain's most evil offenders who will spend the rest of their lives behind bars

Evil killer, Damien Bendall who brutally murdered his pregnant girlfriend and three children joins the list of some of the country's most dangerous criminals who will spend the rest of their lives behind bars. The 'sleepover killer' was given a whole life order on Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to the murders of his 35-year-old partner Teri Haris, her 11-year-old daughter Lacey Bennett, her son John Paul Bennett, 13 and Lacey's friend Connie Gent, 11.

Bendall killed his family as well as Connie last year at the home he shared with Ms Harris in Killamarsh, the Mirror reports. He also admitted to raping Lacey during the 'brutal, vicious and cruel attacks' where he used a claw hammer to smash the victim's skulls.

The twisted murderer will now join the likes of disgraced police officer Wayne Couzens and necrophiliac, David Fuller who are also serving whole life orders which are the most severe punishment available in the UK criminal justice system. There are currently over 60 offenders in the UK serving this sentence - these are the monsters who will never walk the streets of Britain again.

Ali Harbi Ali (PA)

Ali Harbi Ali, 26 is the terrorist who killed MP Sir David Amess outside a constituency surgery in a brutal knife attack. The Islamic State extremist from Kentish Town in North London was found guilty of murdering and preparing terrorists act at the Old Bailey after he murdered the politician in October last year.

He will never be eligible for release unless there are extraordinary compassionate grounds to warrant it.

Anthony Russell (PA)

Anthony Russell was given a whole-life prison sentence in March after he brutally murdered a mother and her son and a pregnant woman. He admitted to the killings and was also unanimously convicted of raping the expecting mother, Nicole McGregor, 31 before he violently killed her.

Mrs McGregor had shown the monstrous killer a picture of her baby scan hours before he assaulted her. He also chillingly told her partner: "I bet you can’t wait for it to be born", in the hours after he murdered her.

The judge at his sentencing hearing dubbed Russell to be an 'exceptionally dangerous and manipulative' man. They said: "You are exceptionally dangerous to those who know you, and those who do not.

"This is one of those cases deserving of a whole-life order."

David Fuller (PA)

Despicable murderer, David Fuller, was given a life sentence after police discovered that he had sexually assaulted over 100 dead women and girls in hospital morgues. On December 3 2020, the 67-year-old was arrested for the 'Bedsit murders' after he was finally found guilty for the murders of two young women in 1987.

The killer, who got away with his crimes for 33 years, had strangled Wendy Knell, 25 and Caroline Pierce, 20 to death before sexually assaulting them in two separate attacks in Kent. Officers discovered new analysis of decades-old DNA evidence, which linked him to the killings and when they searched his home in East Sussex they found shocking images of him assaulting corpses.

Over 12 years before he was arrested in December 2020, he had recorded himself abusing around 102 deceased females, including a nine-year-old girl, two 16-year-olds and a 100-year-old woman. The foul killer was given a whole life sentence for the murders and a concurrent 12-year term for his other vile crimes.

Wayne Couzens (PA)

Ex police officer, Wayne Couzens was handed in a whole-life prison order for the murder of 33-year-old Sarah Everard who he killed in March last year. Couzens' life sentence is the first to have ever been ordered for a single murder of an adult which was not committed as part of a terrorist attack.

He was sentenced at the Old Bailey in September last year after the court heard how he abused his power to issue Ms Everard with a warrant card and handcuffs while she was walked home from a friend's house in Clapham, South London. The disgraced officer had completed a 12-hour shift that morning and drove Ms Everard to a secluded rural area where he raped her.

He then brutally strangled her to death with his police belt and burned her body in a fridge in an area of woodland he owned before disposing of her body in a nearby pond. He was arrested after police connected him to a hired car he used to to kidnap Ms Everard on the night she disappeared.

Lord Justice Fulford concluded that severity of the case was so “exceptionally high” that it demanded a whole life order.

Khairi Saadallah (PA)

Khairi Saadallah brutally stabbed three men to death in a park in 2020. The 26-year-old screamed 'Allahu akhbar' as he murdered James Furlong, 36, Joseph Ritchie-Bennett and Dr David Walis, 49 who were all friends.

Three other people, Patrick Edwards, 29, Stephen Young, 51, and Nishit Nisudan, 34 were also injured in the attacks. Saadallah was sentenced to a whole-life order at the Old Bailey after he pleaded guilty to three murders and three attempted murders.

Mark Fellows (MEN Media)

Mark Fellows who's been dubbed as 'the Iceman' killed the two criminals, John Kinsella and Paul Massey. The bounty hunter was sentenced to life without parole by Judge Mr Justice William Davis who described him as a 'gun for hire' who was prepared to kill anyone for a cash reward.

He was later given another life sentence after a jury found him guilty of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent for his involvement in a knife attack. In June 2019, three of the country's most superior judges rejected an appeal to dismiss his whole-life sentence as they decided he should never be released.
