Britain's largest family turn home into Christmas wonderland

Britain's biggest family have turned their home into a festive wonderland just in time for Christmas.

Despite being pregnant with baby number 22, mum Sue Radford managed to turn her home into a Christmas grotto for her kids - complete with more than a dozen stockings.

Sharing images to the Radford family's Instagram page of the colourfully decked out fireplace and giant Christmas tree, the family wrote: "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas #22stockings #bigfamily #christmas."

Earlier this month the mum shared a picture of a "North Pole Breakfast" which she had set up for her youngsters featuring Christmas party hats, crackers and personalised advent calendars, reports the M.E.N.

Poignantly, one of the moments of Christmas cheer was when the Radford family met Liverpool FC players visiting Alder Hey hospital while Tillie, nine, was being treated.

But the Christmas festivities started way back in November, when the family posted a picture of the Christmas tree, already decorated with silver baubles, stunning white lights and even a tiny Santa.

Many fans have taken to the post to praise the "supermum" for her efforts.

One said: "Perfect! Love all the stockings!"

Another commented: "Love your spirit guys!"

"Looks incredible what a very special family you are," added a third.

While a fourth joked: "Don't put anything in those stockings, it will pull the fireplace down."

The Radfords, from Morecambe in Lancashire, were the subject of a documentary called 15 Kids and Counting back in 2012 - and it has kept them in the spotlight ever since.

The family will welcome a baby girl into the large brood in spring 2020, taking the total up to 11 girls and 11 boys.

The couple are currently parents to one-year-old Bonnie, Archie, two, Phoebe, three, Hallie, four, Casper, six, Oscar, seven, Tillie, nine, Max, 11, Josh, 12, Aimee, 13, Ellie, 14, James, 15, Katie, 16, Millie, 17, Luke, 18, Daniel, 20, Jack, 22, Chloe, 23, Sophie, 25, and Chris, 30.
