Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall has teamed up with a Scots college to record a charity record for ex Rangers player Kris Boyd's charity.
Kris set up the charity in 2018 after his brother Scott tragically took his own life at the age of 27.
After acknowledging that his own wife Christine also suffered from anxiety, devastated Kris decided to help others who are in need of a little helping hand.
Kris and his team have visited more than 25 schools in Ayrshire and Glasgow to deliver Mental Health talks to teenage pupils and raise awareness and he has been involved with Ayrshire College's Passing Positivity mental health campaign.
Jai who grew up in Tarbolton with Kris Boyd's brother decided he'd like to help first hand and offered to sing to hep raise awareness.

He said: "It's an important charity and having grown up with Scott, Kris's brother, I wanted to help out if I could. I went to school with Kris other's brother Lee and we all knew one another.
"They are a nice family and I've worked with Kris a couple of times at Ayr Racecourse events. I went to the college as well to do music and it was a weird nostalgia thing "
The song Don't Forget Who You are was written by 16 year old student Leah Batty and recorded in the college's Rockpool Studios by Jai who himself is an ex student at the college.
Jai also picked the artwork to accompany the song.
The single will be released on May 10 via Sun Turtle Records for the start of Mental Health Awareness Week.
It's a busy time for Jai, who like most musicians hasn't been able to live gig throughout Covid.
The Scots talent is currently in onlline adult panto Throbbin Hood and The Boobs in the Wood with ex Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona and RuPaul's Davina D'Campo.
The naughty show - with a strict no under-18s policy - streams from April 29 until May 2 with tickets available here.
