Four acts have been confirmed for the final of Britain's Got Talent on Sunday night so far.

The competition's semi-finals kicked off on Monday night and will come to an end for the year later this week. One talented contestant will be crowned the winner and walking away with a spot in the Royal Variety Performance as well as a huge cash prize.

Ant and Dec have been back hosting the live shows for the first time in two years. Judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon have all been giving their input as the acts give it their all to win a place in the final on Sunday. This week there are 40 acts in total competing, including five golden buzzer acts.

Singer Maxwell Thorpe was the first act of the series to make it through to the live final on Monday night. The busker left viewers and the judges mesmerised with his incredible performance, and stunning vocals as he sang the track Now We Are Free. He's been tipped to go all the way and win the ITV series, ever since his audition during the final episode before the semi-finals.

Young ventriloquist Jamie Leahey, from St Helens, was the second act to make it through to the 2022 final on Monday night. Ben had the best birthday he could have hoped for as he was voted through to the finals by the public vote. The comedian and impressionist said to the audience: "Thank you so much to everyone that's voted and the crowd tonight have been amazing, and all the comments! I can't believe it, it's the best birthday ever!"

Flintz & Taylor

The rapper and pianist had to endure the judges vote as they went head to head with Amber and her dancing dogs. David and Alesha voted for the musical duo, while Amanda voted for the dog act. Simon cast the deciding vote and chose Flintz and Taylor meaning that they had secured a place in the final.

The Britain's Got Talent semi-final rounds continue nightly this week on ITV.
