Britain's Got Talent viewers stunned by Theresa May's 'new job' after resignation

Viewers of Britain's Got Talent have questioned the new direction that Theresa May could be going in, after her resignation as Prime Minister on Friday.

Walking on stage to perform for the judges, Kath Thompson is a spitting image of the soon to be former PM, as she danced and stripped to the amusement of the crowd.

The 56-year-old yoga teacher arrived on stage in Theresa May's signature red blazer, black trousers and those leopard print heels before launching into her infamous 'Maybot' dance.

The judges were initially unimpressed by 'Mrs May's' dancing but when she started shedding clothes, the room erupted.

She was eventually down to a cut-out black bodysuit before the impersonator brandished a Union Jack and EU flag to finish.

Simon couldn't believe what he'd seen as he said: "Unbelievable! The fact that you've come on and you've chosen our show, it's amazing and I really appreciate that."

David joked: "It was one of the most fun things I've ever seen in my life. If this doesn't solve Brexit I don't know what will!"

Viewers at home were quick to hail this 'new career path' for Mrs May.

Hayley Shannon tweeted: "So that’s why Theresa May quit... #BGT"

While Lauren reacted on Twitter : "So that’s what Theresa May is doing now ! #BGT"

Not everyone was impressed though, with one viewer asking: "What the hell have I just watched?"

While another couldn't believe the judges' reactions, tweeting: "Ridiculous. They're standing up for it #BGT"
