Britain's Got Talent viewers stunned by 'crazy' act on ITV show

A musical four piece left viewers of Britain's Got Talent stunned and hysterical with their bizarre instruments.

The Welsh 'band' who rage in age from 58-71 called Y Pedwar Cofi, walked onto the stage in suit jackets and carrying violin cases.

But it was all just a ruse and viewers were left gobsmacked when they whipped out an altogether more unusual instrument from under their kilts.

The four piece made a big impression with the audience (ITV)

Instead of violins the men from Caernarfon had metal plates strapped around their crotches, with a tiny metal hammer attached to their legs.

ITV viewers thrilled to see Ant and Dec back together again on Britain's Got Talent

They were able to bang along in time to various pieces of music by thrusting the hammer onto the plate.

During the performance they also unveiled underwear branded with 'Wales'.

Many fans took to Twitter to talk about the 'nut cracker' performance and BGT also got in on the act joking pots and pans will never be seen the same way again.

The unusual act wowed the judges and they got a full house of four yes votes to send them through to the next act of the competition.
