Britain's Got Talent viewers heartbroken as little girl tells Ant she missed him

Britain’s Got Talent viewers admitted they were moved to tears on Saturday, over an adorable moment between Ant McPartlin and a young contestant.

Ant and co-host Dec Donnelly were stood at the side of the stage, as a group of youngsters from Flakefleet Primary School took to the stage.

The kids and their teacher proceeded to perform to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

Their adorable performance led to them winning judge David Walliams ’ Golden Buzzer, sending them through to the live semi-finals.

David was shown crying uncontrollably before he pressed his buzzer for them.

He said: "It was so moving, I don’t know why it is so moving. It was one of the most joyous things I have ever seen.

"You made all our hearts soar today. It is what you want your childhood to have been like and what you want you children’s childhood to be like."

But it’s what happened at the end that left viewers moved, as the kids ran off stage.

Ant had a heart-melting moment when a little girl gave him a hug and sobbed: “I’ve missed you.”

The emotional ITV comeback host, 43, lifted five-year-old contestant Emily up and told her: “I missed you too – love you lots.”

Emotional viewers took to Twitter , with one fan saying: “that little girl telling Ant that she has missed him is the purest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Another said: “The little girl saying “I missed ya” to Ant on #BGT.”

A third commented: “So lovely! And the wee girl that said she had missed Ant broke me!”
