Britain's Got Talent viewers convinced The Haunting magician trick was 'exposed by cameraman'

Britain's Got Talent viewers are convinced that a cameraman exposed a magician's trick during the first semi-final.

Amanda Holden swore live on air after being frightened by The Haunting's Elizabeth, leaving her in tears.

Viewers saw how the judge was taken down into the basement, where she was jump-scared by Florence the ghost before her mum Agatha burst out of a mirror in front of her.

Agatha then took Amanda back up the stairs and towards the stage, where the judge expected to see Agatha.

But rather than Agatha, a shocked Amanda screamed "f***" when she saw it was Elizabeth, not Agatha, standing behind her.

Fans of the ITV talent show then claimed they spotted Elizabeth hiding around the corner as Amanda came up the stage, reports the Mirror .

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "The Haunting...anyone else see the other girl coming out of the stairs to take over from 'Agatha?'"

Another asked: "Did anyone else notice the woman standing on the stairs ready to swap over on the Haunting act?"

A third said: "The Haunting wasn't even real, you could see the woman change on the stairs!"

Another joked: "The Haunting's camera man after realising he's getting sacked for exposing the act as fake at the stairs."

Amanda apologised after swearing on stage in front of the millions of viewers watching at home.

When the judge was back in her seat after her terrifying experience, she said: "I just really want to apologise if I..."

Simon replied: "You did."

Amanda added: "I know there's kids watching. A massive apology. I can honestly say I feel terrified. It's terrifying, amazing, thrilling. I wouldn't want anyone to go through that. It was amazing."

The ECHO have contacted Britain's Got Talent for comment, but received no reply.
