Britain's Got Talent's Stavros Flatley star looks unrecognisable 12 years after show

The Stavros Flatley star, Lagi Demetriou, looks incredibly different 12 years after his appearance in Britain's Got Talent.

The 25-year-old and his father, Demi, became famous thanks to their dance on the 2009 series of the show.

He was only 12 years old when the show aired.

The British Cypriot duo performed a traditional greek dance routine wearing tight black trousers and blonde wigs.

They opted to go shirtless for the performance.

Demi and Lagi began their Stavros Flatley routine – a fusion of Harry Enfield character Stavros and Irish dancing legend Michael Flatley – as an act at their Greek restaurant in London.

Now, Lagi is covered with tattoos on his arms, chest, back and stomach. He looks unrecognisable with a thick beard.

Lagi boasts 25,000 followers on Instagram and constantly shares glimpses of his adventurous life.

The former BGT contestant has been dating Annika for the last five years and they are now expecting a baby together.

"Our Next chapter - Baby Demetriou," his girlfriend posted recently.

Lagi wrote: "To another new chapter with my beautiful wife to be. I love you."

They both live in Paphos, Cyprus.

He also proposed to her on New Year's Eve last year, sharing the news on social media.

"I didn’t get a trim and oh yeahhh guess what," he said along with a snap of the two enjoying some champagne.

During his time on Britain's Got Talent, Lagi and his father managed to impress the judges enough to get to the final.

However, they only managed to place fourth in the competition, and the programme was won by dance group Diversity.

In 2016, they even returned to the BGT stage as guest performers.

Lagi and his dad also starred in the show alongside contestant 4MG's as part of their magic performance in the 19th series in 2013.

Fans loved them so much they returned in 2019 for the spin-off show, Britain's Got Talent: The Champions.

They placed second in The Champions and Demi carried on their legacy with his nephew.

On TikTok, Lagi and his fiancée accumulated over 270,000 followers thanks to their cute content.

Both share a YouTube channel called Neekzs and Lagi, where they upload Q&As, fashion hauls and more.
