Britain's Got Talent's X1X Crew leave Simon Cowell looking on in horror with death defying move

Simon Cowell was left absolutely aghast as a group of dancers perform a death defying move in the first of Britain's Got Talent's audition shows on Saturday.

The hit ITV show is back, much to the surprise of plenty of viewers, given the number of coronavirus-enforced changes to TV shows over the past few weeks.

Thankfully for the millions of viewers who tune into Britain's Got Talent every year, the auditions kicked off in January, meaning they were filmed before the UK was effectively put on lockdown by the Government towards the end of March.

And of the most memorable auditions from the first episode of 2020 came from X1X Crew. The dance troop aged 13-28, travelled from India to perform for judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.

It was Simon who they make the biggest impression on as he looked on open mouthed as the dancers formed a human pyramid - before one threw themselves off the top from 20ft.

And then they built a seven-strong tower, with each dancer vaulting onto the shoulders of another, before falling backwards, prompting David to gasp and Dec to exclaim "Incredible!"

Other memorable acts from the first show of the new series include Yakub and Papi Flex.
