Britain's Got Talent's Jonathan Goodwin 'buried alive' for most dangerous stunt ever in final

A Britain's Got Talent act was 'buried alive' in Sunday night's final for his most dangerous stunt ever.

Escape artist Jonathan Goodwin has been one of the most talked about acts from the get-go on this year's Britain's Got Talent and he saved his most dramatic performance to date for the grand finale as he battled it out against the other Britain's Got Talent finalists for glory and a place on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.

In a stunt thought up by his daughter, Jonathan was shackled in chains and then placed in a glass box which was quickly filled with gravel.

He had to free himself , using only a bobby pin as health and safety staff stood on stage and judge Amanda Holden and Cheryl, who was in the audience, looked on in horror.

Simon Cowell told Jonathan "what you've done on the two live shows is unbelievable," while David Walliams said "this was the most thrilling act ever."
