Gregg Wallace had such a taste for Britain’s Got Talent singer Faith Tucker he added her to his wedding menu.
The 18-year-old opera fan wowed judges on the ITV talent show last night, winning four nods.
And we can reveal MasterChef host Gregg was moved to approach her after being bowled over when he heard her at a charity gig aged 16.
After she belted out love songs while he tied the knot with fourth wife Anna-Marie Sterpini in 2016, he promised to return the favour by catering for her own big day.
Faith said: “I sing for a charity called Rainbows Children’s Hospice and he introduced himself and said he’d been in the audience.
“I’m not a massive MasterChef fan but obviously still knew who he was.

“He asked me to sing at his wedding. I was overwhelmed but assumed he’d forget about it – but he didn’t.
“He asked me to sing I Will Always Love You and three other songs he thought Anna-Marie would enjoy.”
Faith also performed I Dreamed a Dream and Parla Piu Piano at the bash at Hever Castle, Kent.
She said: “I sang at the reception, surrounded by tables full of stars as they enjoyed a ten-course meal.
“There were celebs there and most were playing croquet. I was in awe – like, is this really happening?”
John Torode – Gregg’s best man and MasterChef co-star – also lavished praise on the teen.
Faith added: “He was asking what made me choose classical music because it’s not that popular choice for a 16-year-old.
“I stayed until the first dance and mingled. Gregg didn’t give me any showbiz advice – probably because I was so young.
“But he did say he would do the catering at my future wedding, so I’m going to hold him to that. I don’t have a partner though – I’m single as a pringle.”
Sixth-form student Faith, of Nottingham, also has former TOWIE star Amy Childs queuing to book her as a wedding singer.

She said: “She was lovely, one of those girls you’re just in awe in because she’s gorgeous.
“I remember her going ‘I want you to sing at my wedding’, even though as far as I know she wasn’t getting married. I’m gonna keep that at the back of my mind.”
Faith thrilled the BGT panel with her performance – and she admits she loves having the “shock factor”.
She said: “I’m only 18 and they don’t expect it – plus I don’t dress like your stereotypical opera singer. I love fashion and would never dress to fit the genre of music.
“I’m a trendy girl and love my hooped earrings.”
Faith recalls singing opera from the age of four, when she would sing along to her nan’s favourite Maria Callas recordings in the car.

She said: “My parents always knew I had a high voice – my dad used to say I would screech notes in his ear.”
Faith now dreams of being the classical world’s answer to Beyonce , adding: “I’d love to be a ‘popera Beyonce’. I love her and she is who I listen to and aspire to be like.
“I’d love to perform for her.”
But Faith, who also performed for the Army’s Coldstream Guards in 2017, insists she is like any student.
She said: “I do like an 18-year-old lifestyle. I love going out with my friends.
“I just try not to scream and remember I do have a voice to look after – and definitely no smoking.”
