Ant McPartlin found himself the victim of a jibe from a Britain's Got Talent finalist of Sunday night, over the nasty fall he suffered at the start of the first live show earlier this week.
After the audition rounds of the ITV programme's new series wrapped up last weekend, it was time for viewers to have their as the semis kicked off on Monday. And, pulling out all the stops to make sure the first one was a real showstopper, viewers at home were treated to an opening number to disco classic We Are Family, before the first eight acts in contention gave their performances.
Things went wrong for presenter Ant, when he rushed onto stage, only for his legs to go from under him to sent him crashing to the floor. Both Britain's Got Talent co-host Dec Donnelly and Diversity star Ashley Banjo looked alarmed by Ant's dramatic and, while his adrenalin got him through the rest of the live broadcast, Ant did admit that his back was rather sore as he prepared for Tuesday's show.

Thankfully, he was fighting fit to front Sunday's grand finale and one of the acts in the running to take the 2023 title was singer Travis George. The powerful singer made it through to the final, after the result was taken to deadlock earlier in the week and made his bid for victory with a powerful rendition of This is Me from The Greatest Showman.
After the song ended and Travis received feedback from the judges, Ant told Travis that him falling to his knees as he found out he'd made it into the final was his 'favourite ever' reaction from a BGT contestant, to which Travis shot back: "I'm took a page out of your book and fell to the floor," prompting laughs from the audience as Ant replied: "Very good, very good."
Viewers were quick to react to Travis' performance rather than his joke at Ant's expense, with one tweeting: "travis is such a perfect act, no sob story - gets right on with it, god he is so talented."
