Britain's Got Talent returns to ITV and the first episode features a singing Dalek from Nottinghamshire

It's the TV reunion we've all been waiting for; cheeky Geordie chappies Ant and Dec are back together as Britain's Got Talent returns to our screens this Saturday (April 6)... and once again all is right in the world.

Helping the duo get the new series (the first presented together since McPartlin's arrest for drink-driving in March last year) off to a storming start are two hopeful contestants from Nottinghamshire.

While both admit their dreams are to win the ITV talent show, they hope to impress judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams in very different ways.

Faith Tucker, 18, from Clifton on Britain's Got Talent (SYCO/ITV)

First up is 18-year-old Faith Tucker, of Clifton, who is hoping her singing will get her on to the stage at the London Palladium.

Wearing a red top and black leather trousers the college student tells the judges she has her nurse mum, security worker dad and nana in the audience supporting her.

She says: "I like school but I like singing more.

"My biggest inspiration is actually Beyonce. I've loved her since the age of five and as a young girl I'd be in my bedroom singing Beyonce or Britney Spears.

"I've always wanted to perform on the Royal Variety Show, that would just be insane wouldn't it? Maybe Simon could give me a record deal, who knows?"

Next is 45-year-old Ron from Nottinghamshire whose talent of singing while dressed as a Dalek is rather unique.

How he gets on is of course currently under wraps but we can reveal you'll never here the song Don't Worry, Be Happy, the same way again.

They are joined by a drag artist dressed as Queen Elizabeth, a ventriloquist from Devon and an unexpected strip-show from one of the judges will feature as the competition returns for its 13th series.

Also auditioning in front of the panel will be brothers from Russia whose death-defying act will have the judges covering their eyes.

Tune in to Britain's Got Talent on Saturday at 7.15pm to see how our contestants get on.
