Britain's Got Talent magician Ben Hart 'exposed' as fans 'rumble' semi-final trick

Britain’s Got Talent fans were left stunned over magician Ben Hart, as he pulled off another impressive trick during the live semi-final on Thursday.

The judges were just as shocked, tipping him to do well on the show as they struggled to work out how he pulled it off.

His act consisted of cards vanishing into thing air, before reappearing in other places that were unexpected.

One card vanished from under Simon Cowell’s hand, while Alesha Dixon was stunned when another card replaced a matchbox that was in her hands without her even touching it.

Ben also performed an impressive trick involving a glass, that left several viewers absolutely baffled.

But some eagle-eyed fans are now convinced they know what went on, as others continued to try and work out the routine.

Taking to Twitter , they shared their theories with one fan suggesting he performed a quick switch undetected.

One viewer commented: “He had a red cloth on the table from the glass.

“Clearly had something drop in there to react. Whilst he took the red cloth off and placed it down he picked up the card with matches and swapped it with the club card which he had in his hand from his pocket.”

Meanwhile, after another fan noticed the “sleight of hand” with the card tricks, they admitted they couldn’t work out what he did with the glass.

Another viewer was quick to share their theory, telling them: “Keep your eye on the saucer at the start, which he never shows fully as it's covered by his hand & then quickly puts it under the red cloth over the glass, which is where he has something that produces fake smoke.”

A further fan added: “The moments where he took the card from Simon's hand and switched up the matchbook were so obvious.”

Others fans didn’t care how he did it, far too impressed by the performance.

Britain’s Got Talent airs live all this week on ITV at 7:30pm.
