Britain's Got Talent judges turn heads as they arrive for the Manchester auditions by boat

Britain's Got Talent judges turned heads as they arrived for the Manchester auditions by boat.

David Walliams and Simon Cowell made an eye-catching sight as they rocked up in a Union Jack amphibious vehicle at Salford Quays.

Hilariously they were joined on the water by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly who were travelling in a larger boat. And Dec picked up a megaphone to address show boss Cowell and Walliams, who scooped best TV judge at the National Television Awards, which he also hosted.

David looked dapper in a white jacket and black bow tie alongside Simon who cut a more casual figure in jeans and a navy shirt.

The show will return to our screens soon for the 14th series. It was won last year by war veteran singer Colin Thackery, who became the oldest winner of BGT.

Back on dry land David and Simon walked the red carpet with Ant and Dec and fellow judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

Alesha, who was expecting when the previous series was filmed, announced the arrival of her second daughter in October.

They were joined on the water by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (Eamonn and James Clarke)

She wrote on Instagram: "Anaya Safiya  born 20.08.19. Seven weeks ago this little angel came into our lives! "As I celebrate my birthday today I feel like the luckiest girl."

The singer looked incredible as she posed at The Lowry theatre in a turquoise blue high-waisted suit.

Amanda also wowed as she waved for the crowds in an aquamarine colour dress with ruffled neck detail.
