Britain's Got Talent judges left fearing for contestant's life after dangerous act

There was horror on Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday, as the judges including Amanda Holden were left fearing for an act’s life.

The Gomonov Knife Show featured knife thrower Andrei Gomonov and his assistant Daria Sheremet.

Daria was stood in position against a board as Andrei chucked a series of blades at her throughout the audition.

But in the final part of the act, the judges and audiences members were left gasping.

Daria was attached to a circular board, which featured a paper sheet over the top.

Andrei began to spin her around, before throwing the knives at the board which was hidden, as was his partner.

Alesha Dixon looked horrified, while David Walliams recoiled in his seat unable to watch.

Even hosts Ant and Dec had their hands on their heads, as Amanda winced at the sight of the act.

As the audience began gasping, the judges began hiding behind their hands one by one.

When the knives had all been thrown, Amanda suddenly looked extremely panicked as the partner did not repair.

Remaining very still behind the paper shield, the show's paramedic was seen on standby as everyone waited for Daria to return.

Suddenly, Daria burst through the paper and confirmed she was fine, much to the judges’ relief.

The duo were sent through to the next round, with viewers praising their tense performance on Twitter .

Britain’s Got Talent continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
