Britain's Got Talent is back! Amanda Holden gives fans sneak peek as Ant and Dec take centre stage

Amanda Holden has given fans their first look at Britain’s Got Talent ahead of its return to screens next month.

Holden, who has been a judge on the ITV show since 2007, shared a promotional picture on Instagram, telling fans she is back with her “family”.

The shot shows Holden in a pink dress as she is showered with gold confetti alongside fellow judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly take centre stage in the shot, marking their first TV reunion since McPartlin stepped down from the limelight following a drink driving charge and a stint in rehab.

Holden captioned the shot: “I’m BACK with my BGT family we’ll be on your screens this April on @itv! #BGT.”

McPartlin teared up as he joined Donnelly on stage during the auditions at the London Palladium in January.

“Oh god, I'm really, really emotional now,” he said. “I’ve missed you all. As for you [Dec], I’ve missed you! Thank you for a very lovely welcome.

“What a great show to come back to, I’m thrilled. I’m over the moon. Shall we move on before I cry?”

Donnelly was last year forced to present the live shows solo after McPartlin took a temporary hiatus from work.

He was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months after he crashed his Mini in March 2018 while more than twice the alcohol limit.

He said his co-star was left “angry” but that he never feared his actions had caused irreparable damage to their friendship.

This year’s series is set to be an emotional one with Cowell allegedly moved to tears by a brave police dog and a Grenfell fire survivor who performed Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down.
