Britain's Got Talent fans think they know who the masked magician is

Britain's Got Talent fans convinced they know the secret identity of the masked magician.

A mysterious masked performer took to the stage during Ant and Dec involved in 'spookiest ever' Britain's Got Talent magic act .

Ant and Dec sat either side of the magician and were told to close their eyes.

They were told to raise their right hand if they felt they had been touched. Even though Ant was the only one to be touched , they both raised their hands and pointed to their hips where they felt they were touched.

Ant and Dec's 'undeniable bond' was tested on tonight's Britain's Got Talent (ITV)

Then, Ant was touched three times, Dec wasn't , but they both said they felt three touches, leaving the Britain's Got Talent crowd gasping.

To end the incredible act, the pair were given ten seconds with their eyes closed to draw a picture on a white board.

When the magician revealed their drawings, they had drawn the same scribble which, when turned upside down, read the year 1989 - the year that the pair met each other.

Britain's Got Talent fans took to Twitter after watching the spectacle with some interesting theories.

They believe the masked magician could be creepy performer Elizabeth from last weekend's show.

One fan asked: "This the same woman back from last week ?

"It's that woman from last week wearing a mask She said she'd be back and it wasn't over," added another.

A third said: "It will be the woman from last week"

Elizabeth terrified Amanda Holden during the series opener.

The magician transformed into a woman who died over 100 years ago in front of her eyes.

Britain's Got Talent viewers were left baffled tonight when she promised to return - but never did.

Following her performance she told them ominously: "The night's not over yet."

Could she have made a comeback tonight?

Judge  Simon Cowell said the act was extraordinary and emotional.

David Walliams added: "That was the spookiest thing we've ever seen on Britain's Got Talent. It was one incredible bit of magic after another."

Alesha Dixon said the act had sent chills through her, while Amanda Holden said she couldn't take her eyes off what was happening.

Naughty Ant cracked a gag about the identity of the BGT hopeful as he watched from the sidelines.

Stunned Dec pulled a face after Ant's joke about his wife, Ali Astall, before the magician performed.

He said: "Imagine at the end they take off the mask and it’s someone we know. Like your wife."

The giggling presenter, who clearly saw the funny side, said: "Now that would be a shock."
