Britain's Got Talent fans share their joy after 'happy and healthy' Ant McPartlin returns to TV

It was the moment Ant and Dec fans had been waiting almost a year for.

And Britain's Got Talent viewers claimed Ant McPartlin looked "happy and healthy" after making his TV comeback.

The Geordie entertainer halted his TV career after his drink driving conviction last year.

But making his return to the ITV show on Saturday night, fans flocked to Twitter to welcome the 43-year-old as he reunited with Declan Donnelly, reports the Mirror.

"I’ve missed Ant and Dec so much, I’m so happy that Ant is back and looking so happy and healthy," one fan wrote.

"My Saturday nights are complete again!" a viewer posted on Twitter.

"Britain's Got Talent is back but most importantly Ant & Dec are reunited and I don't ever want them to be separated again!" wrote another.

The star was fined a record £86,000 for the crash, while he was banned from the road for 20 months.

But despite halting their partnership, the pair still reportedly netted £12,000-a-day in 2018 - even though Ant didn't work for three months of it.

But fans were chuffed to see him back on the TV.

"He's happy and healthy and that's all that matters," posted one fan on social media.

Another was very happy the favourite was back on screens.

He tweeted: "It’s good to see Ant & Dec back together isn’t it? No fuss made of Ant’s return either. Just business as usual. Like he’s never been away!"
