Britain's Got Talent fans all thought the same thing as they were warned about 22ft unicycle act

Britain's Got Talent fans were gripped by an unusual act on tonight's show - a man riding a 22ft high unicycle.

Viewers were on the edge of their seats as they watched Wesley Williams cycle across the stage at a great height.

Fans of the ITV talent contest were urged 'do not try this at home' about the act, and they were left feeling bemused by the warning.

“'Do not try this at home'...like my ceilings are high enough," tweeted one.

"Like everybody has one at home," said another.

"Maybe in a high rise flat."

"Was just about to ride my 22ft unicycle too until you put that notice up. Phew," tweeted another.

"Good job BGT put that warning up saying ‘Do Not Try This At Home’ cos I was just about to go and get on my 22ft unicycle that’s lying around in the garage," commented another fan sarcastically.

As Wesley prepared to perform his record-breaking stunt, host Declan Donnelly walked on stage with a plea to the audience to remain quiet until afterwards.

"In the interest of safety please save your applause," he said.

"Edge of the seat! Just wow bloody wow!" applauded one impressed viewer.

American entertainer Wesley received his first unicycle for Christmas when he was six and started performing for friends and family.

He has previously appeared on America's Got Talent, another show in judge and show boss Simon Cowell's Got Talent franchise.
