Britain's Got Talent Christmas Spectacular: What time, who's in the cast and when was it filmed?

Britain's Got Talent may have only crowned its 2020 winner a few months ago, but it's already back.

Britain's Got Talent Christmas Spectacular is the ITV show's first festive special and viewers will get to see some of the best and most memorable acts to appear over the past 14 years.

Ant and Dec will host the special with judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Ashley Banjo all taking to the stage for a series of special performances.

The Christmas Spectacular airs on Christmas Day (ITV)

Ashley's dance troupe Diversity will become a supergroup with 2018 semi-finalists DVJ and season two winner George Sampson for a Christmas themed routine.

Alesha Dixon will sing the Christmas classic Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, accompanied by former winner Tokio Myers on the piano.

David Walliams will front a comedy mashup, with the help of previous comedy acts from the show, and Amanda Holden will sing her Christmas single Home For Christmas with former winners Collabro.

The programme will air on ITV on Christmas Day at 8pm.

Also returning for the finale will be 2020 winner Jon Courtenay, Attraction, Richard Jones, Ben Hart, Marc Spellman, Asanda Jezile, Souparnika Nair, Fayth Ifil, Sarah Ikumu and Beau Dermott.

Not only that, Calum Scott will perform You Are The Reason, joined by dance troupe the MerseyGirls, while Ashleigh & Sully and Eliza will join Sign Along With Us in a performance of All I Want for Christmas Is You.

Stavros Flatley will also return with a performance which ends with a special surprise, while 2019 winner Colin Thackery will perform a remote rendition of What A Wonderful World to pay tribute to the heroes of 2020.

The Christmas Spectacular was filmed following the end of the 2020 talent competition in October.

Production had to be halted due to a Covid-19 scare but resumed in early November and was eventually filmed at the beginning of December at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
